Marigold - marigold flowers are the source of some of our favourite yellows. We get tones as vibrant and rich as ochre, a lovely warm mustard, and a more muted buttery yellow. These blankets are available in a variety of yellows. If you want a specific shade, please leave a note at check out and we will try our best to accommodate to the extent we're able and that the natural world of botanical dyes allow. Note that natural dyes can vary from batch to batch!
Cutch - the heartwood of a tree that is soaked and made into a richly coloured syrup, which is then dried and ground into a dye powder referred to as "cutch." We get so many beautiful shades from this dye, and it's become a quick favourite! These blankets are offered in a deep pink-hued rust and a lovely rich rose colour. They are all really beautiful, but if you have a particular shade in mind then let us know by leaving a note at check out and we'll do our best to accommodate based on stock and the extent that we can.
All items in this collection are carefully handmade and botanically-dyed. By nature, each item is unique. Efforts are made to provide a thorough description and photography that represents the colourways and unique characteristics of a naturally-dyed item though botanical dye colours can vary between batches. Please note that the photography represents an example of an item dyed with a particular dye, and you may receive an item dyed with the same material but that is slightly different.
